Welcome to Studio Lumi! I'm Yulia, the maker behind the brand. It all started with a vision to bring those cute pinterest pins to life since I found it hard to find aesthetic products that meets my trifecta: cute, made locally and support sustainable practices. Next thing I know I enrolled myself to a Cert III in Apparel, Fashion and Textiles at my local TAFE (government run college) and asking for a sewing machine for my birthday.

Fast forward a year later I've become a regular stallholder at Glebe Markets, made and sold hundreds of carry all bags, had a few viral tiktok videos and still loving sewing 5+ hours a day. If I'm not sewing, you can find me thrifting vintage and deadstock fabrics. As my skills grow, so does my fabric collection. So please help me use them up haha
